Thought About You is about thinking that you are further along in a getting over someone journey
than you are and then one thing happens that reminds you of them and it's kind of just like
a tailspin of thoughts really. The line, I hate time for making me change the way I remember my
last night with you. We just died over that line and how it's so true that the more time goes by
you'll find yourself thinking about an atrocious person being like, wow that was amazing I miss
that person and just like what that can do to your brain and like what a reminder of someone
can make you think of. So that's kind of all that Thought About You is about. It's just about
almost like being triggered into thinking about that person again and remembering it in a better
light than it actually was and I think that's okay for people to do. I think that is why I want
this song to be out in the world so that they can almost use this song as three minutes and 30
seconds of remembering that person.
