I wrote Rhinestone Ring with Nathan Spicer and Heather Morgan, and it was a magical write.
It was one of those where it was like, wow, this is something special.
Once again, I had the title, Rhinestone Ring, and then came into the room with it.
We created the story in the room that day.
I think that the thing that I dreamt of most as a little girl was the dress.
I still dream of the dress.
Even though it says a little black dress, there's a part of me that's like, no, I need a dress.
I'll take a rhinestone ring, but I need the dress.
So I'm somewhere in the middle as far as dreaming of a big wedding.
Honestly, writing this song kind of convinced me that I don't necessarily need that.
I think Rhinestone Ring is just my take on a really simple country love song.
