Montero (Call Me by Your Name) (stylized as MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)) is a song by American rapper and singer Lil Nas X. First previewed in a Super Bowl LV commercial in February 2021, the song was released on March 26, 2021. Written by Lil Nas X along with its producers, Take a Daytrip, Omer Fedi, and Roy Lenzo, the song is the title track from the upcoming album Montero, which is expected for release in mid-2021. Montero (Call Me by Your Name) debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Outside of the United States, Montero (Call Me by Your Name) topped the charts in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom, becoming Lil Nas Xs second number one song in those countries, and peaked within the top ten of the charts in Canada, Lithuania, and New Zealand.
