I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful O Seen By the wise Qur'an Indeed, you are of the messengers On a straight path A revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful To warn a people As their fathers were warned, but they were unmindful Indeed, the people have spoken the truth against most of them, but they do not believe Indeed, We have placed in their necks shackles, and they are to the heels, so they are strapped Indeed, We have placed in their necks shackles, and they are to the heels, so they are strapped And it is the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe Indeed, you warn only those who follow the Reminder and fear the Most Merciful in secret So give him good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward Indeed, it is We who give life to the dead and record what they have put forth and their footsteps, and We have recorded everything in a clear record And set forth for them an example of the people of the city when the messengers came to it When We sent to them two, but they denied them, so We strengthened with a third, and they said, So they said, We are messengers to you They said, You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not sent down anything. You are but lying They said, Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you, and we are only responsible for clear communication They said, Indeed, we fear you, but if you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and a painful punishment will surely touch you from us They said, Your bird is with you, but if you are reminded, no, you are a people who disobey And a man came running from the farthest part of the city. He said, O my people, follow the messengers Follow those who do not ask you for a reward while they are guided And why should I not worship the One who created me and to Him you will be returned Should I take other gods besides Him? If the Most Merciful intends harm, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor will they save me Indeed, I am in clear error. Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen It was said, Enter Paradise. He said, Oh, I wish my people knew what my Lord has forgiven me and made me of the honored And We did not send down upon his people after him any army from the sky And We did not send down upon his people after him any army from the sky It was not but a single cry, and at once they were dead Oh, regret for the servants. No messenger comes to them except that they used to mock at him Do they not see how many generations We have destroyed before them, that they do not return to them And indeed, all of them will be brought before Us And a sign for them is the dead earth. We gave life to it and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat And We placed therein gardens of date palms and grapevines, and We caused therein to burst forth springs That they may eat of its fruit. And what I have done is in their hands. Will they not then complain Exalted is He who created all species from that which the earth produces and from that which they themselves produce And from that which they do not know And a sign for them is the night. We cause the day to pass from it, and at once they are wronged And the sun runs to its place of rest. That is the decree of the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing And the moon. We have determined for it places of rest, until it returns to you, the ancient star The sun should not reach the moon, nor should the night overtake the day. And all will be in an orbit, swimming And a sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the loaded ship And We created for them from the like of it that which they ride And if We willed, We could drown them, but there would be no cry for them, nor would they be saved Except as a mercy from Us and an enjoyment for a time And when it is said to them, Beware of that which is before you and that which is behind you, that you may receive mercy And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord, except that they turn away from them And when it is said to them, Spend from that which Allah has provided for you Those who disbelieve say to those who believe, Shall we feed those whom Allah would have willed to feed? Those whom Allah would have willed to feed, you are not but in manifest error And they say, When is this promise, if you are truthful? They do not see except a single cry, which takes them while they dispute So they are not able to make a decision, nor do they turn to their people And the trumpet is blown, and at once they descend from the graves to their Lord They say, Woe to us! Who has raised us from our graves? This is what the Most Merciful promised, and the messengers spoke the truth It is not but a single cry, and at once they are all brought before Us So this Day no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do Indeed, the companions of Paradise this Day are in a fruitful occupation He and their wives are in shades, reclining on couches They will have therein fruit, and they will have whatever they desire Peace is a word from the Lord, the Merciful And abstain this Day, O you who are guilty Have I not promised you, O Children of Adam, that you will not worship Satan? Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy And that you worship me, this is a straight path And he has certainly led many of you astray, have you not then understood? This is Hell, which you were promised Burn therein this Day, because you used to disbelieve This Day We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to what they used to earn And if We willed, We could have wiped over their eyes, but they hastened to the path, so how could they see? And if We willed, We could have wiped over their eyes, but they hastened to the path, so how could they see? And whoever We give life to, We will cause him to sink into creation. Will they not then understand? And We have not taught him poetry, and it is not appropriate for him. It is nothing but a reminder and a clear Quran That He may warn whoever is alive, and that the Word may be justified against the disbelievers Do they not see that We have created for them from that which Our hands have made, and We have sent down to them rain, and from it they will be full, and from it they will be full again And We have sent down to them rain, and from it they will be full, and from it they will be full again And they will have therein benefits and drinks. Will they not then be grateful? And they have taken besides Allah gods that they may be helped They will not be able to help them, and for them there will be an army brought So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they associate with Allah and what they declare Do they not see that We have created man from a sperm, and at once he is a manifest adversary? And He set forth for us an example, and He forgot His creation. He said, Who will give life to the bones while they are hollow? Say, He will give life to it who created it the first time, and He is Knowing of every creation Who made for you from the tree the green fire, and at once you are ignited therefrom Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, and He is the Knowing Creator I only die when I intend a thing And I only die when I intend a thing that He says to it, Be, and it is So exalted is He in Whose hand is the dominion of all things, and to Him you will be saved God Almighty has spoken the truth
