I was on the radio. Was it last week? Two weeks ago? Three years ago? Last week? Good, thank you.
It was a bit of a crazy day. I did a gig in Belfast.
Then I had to get up at around four o'clock in the morning to get on a plane to fly to London, where I live.
Go straight to the radio station, play on the radio, which is quite a high-pressured thing, and I had to sing good and not mess it up.
And then fly straight back to Dublin, which is an hour and a half away from Belfast, and then do a gig that night.
And then I was very tired.
But what I did on the radio was, they asked for a cover, and they asked for a cover of something I hadn't done before.
And basically the tour anthem for the European tour that we just did was Wichita Lineman, which I do have a version of, which I might play for you now, if that's okay with you.
If it's not, there's the door.
Cool. I think I'll remember it.
Okay, let's see what happens.
Cool.
I think I'll remember it.
No, I need a small vacation, but it don't look like great.
And if it snows, it's stretched out south, won't ever stand a straight.
And I need you more than want you, and I want you for all time.
In Wichita.
Wichita Lineman
Is still on the line
In Wichita
In Wichita
In Wichita
In Wichita
In Wichita
Wichita
In Wichita
In Wichita
In Wichita
And I need you more than want you
And I want you for all time
And the Wichita lineman
Is still on the line
Ooh, ooh, ooh
Thank you very much.
