We
built a dream from broken glass
Swore forever but it couldn't last
Every promise turned to rust
Every color bled from trust
We thought love would set us free
But we locked the doors and lost the key
Now all that's left is what we chose
A masterpiece of letting go
You called it home, I called it sin
But both our hearts were trapped within
We painted our own prison With shades of gold and indecision
Every liar stroke of art Every kiss tore us apart
We framed our pain in superstition Yeah,
we painted our own prison
Jumu'ah Mubarak, it's first Friday of November.
O Allah,
I ask you for strength and patience in everything I face in my life.
Say Ameen.
O Allah,
make us among those who are blessed with
peace and contentment in this world and
the hereafter.
Say Ameen.
O Allah,
protect my family from all harm and
make them among the people of Jannah.
My prayer every night and they make
our tents get hard before I get cash.
I don't want to roll out with car,
they pay for rent.
Now one day for that kind of luxury house,
let me say,
if you observe me,
if you confirm me,
you will know that this guy is a scheme fool.
Sir,
who is this guy that you are so afraid of him?
What's wrong with me?
Even those who are afraid of him are afraid of
the one who is afraid of the whole of Mumbai.
Beauty hurts and we were divine
Two fools in love, out of time
We painted our own prison With love disguised as indecision
