Lacey K. Booth, when I first met her, she described her style of country music to me as dreamy.
Now, I had no idea what that meant, but then I listened to her music and it completely made sense.
She's got kind of this breathy, ethereal, dreamy quality to her voice, and you'll hear it throughout this project.
The next song we've got for you is called Visions, so tell people about this song.
My song Visions was inspired by Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, and I've always loved the word visions,
and I've always wanted it to be a song of mine, and Stevie actually uses it in a lot of her songs.
So when I wrote this, I knew I wanted it to be very dreamy, and it's about a relationship, envisioning the future with somebody.
Maybe you've had relationships in the past that you haven't really seen a future before,
and this one particular person, you just, you see him holding your baby.
One day you see you two at the altar, you see the house that you're going to build,
and you see all these incredible things about your future.
That's what I wrote Visions about.
Wow, that is a lot to take in when you start picturing all of that.
I know it would scare some people, but it makes for an amazing song.
This is Visions on Big Machine Radio from Lacey K. Booth.
