Have you ever heard of how he met me?

Have I told you that he got me dancing?

But then I just don’t know what he’s been thinking



I know i like him



But now i’m old enough to know it’s sweet, or it’s bitter



It won’t get any better

You cannot wait to be wanted

But then it’s only me and I’ve been thinking

He picked me up, those late summer rides

The city looked so damn good at night

Music was on, so his hands on mine

Kissed me softly when he said goodbye

He called, and we talked till 5

Sent me flowers with a note inside

Laid me down with a glass of wine

It’s hard to say but i think it’s the ending

And even though we barely even started

Cuz he’s been leaving me with million questions

Though my door was opened

Little does he know that i'm a girl, who loves my life

Little does he know i'm with myself, like every night

But i gave him my time

But i gave him my mind

I gave him chances more than i could give, to anyone

I gave him my affection when i'm tired, of everyone

He says he miss me too

But then he’ll never do

He’s reaching out, but never reply

Never ask me if my day’s been nice

Stays silent but he hopes i read his mind

Promises and leave me on the line

He’s warm, then he’s cold as ice

Gave him closure but he gave me sighs

Save my heart before it breaks in time
