Let me take, let me take your mind off
Take a break,
you can't do nothing when you're wound up
If I stay,
I can be your watchdog If you let me stay,
I'll be here when the lights go down
Let it all go
Tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight is yours
And let it all go
Tonight,
tonight, tonight, tonight is yours Is yours
I see you buckle cause you're taking on the weight of the world,
weight of the world, weight of the world
I see you struggle cause you're tough so you fight like a girl,
fight like a girl,
fight like a girl
Let it all go Tonight,
tonight, tonight, tonight is yours
And let it all go Cause tonight,
tonight,
tonight,
tonight
is yours
Everything turns white
I am on your
side There's nothing else that matters now
Everything turns white
I am on your side
There's nothing else that matters now
When
I started writing this song,
I didn't want to take it too seriously.
I wanted people to have fun and dance.
In the end,
I succeeded in not taking it too seriously.
But when I start writing,
I'm inspired by the things that are important
to me and the things I see happening around me.
This next song is influenced by my years at the fire department,
about a layer of society that we often forget.
And actually inspired by Robin van der Westen,
who told me at some point,
stop thinking about what you want to do with
your life and just start writing a song.
