Hey, you there! Huh, who? Me? Yes, you! You know what the world needs right now? Another podcast! Wow, disembodied announcer voice, that's great! I was just thinking of starting one. I know you were! Why don't you start by telling us what your idea is? Huh, you know, I don't actually have a concrete idea. I was thinking of just, you know, sitting down with some friends and shooting the breeze. Wow, what a creative concept! I'm sure no one's ever thought of that before. Wow, you really think so? No, it sounds like something that someone with no creativity, originality, or sense of purpose would come up with in order to further dilute the pool of good podcasts. Oh, do you have any experience with audio editing? Well, no, but I'm eager to learn! You really think you can compete with people who already have audio editing experience? Of course you can! Your podcast is probably going to be so low quality, it's unlistenable! But that's okay, you and every other schmuck are still going to think that your ***'s good! Well, that's the thing, I mean, I am genuinely eager to improve, so... You want to make a podcast that can be done by literally anyone, thus creating a product that will get four viewers, all of them friends and family, none of them actually wanting to listen to you speak! I bet you'll spend a thousand dollars on a mic just to produce garbage, boring content that drones on and on that the world doesn't need! What's this really about? Is somebody going to announce their voice? It's not about anything! What this is about is you realizing that the art you're creating has no place in this world! No, I mean, like, what is this actually about? You know, disembodied announcer voice, it's okay to tell me how you feel, I won't judge you. When I was a kid, I really wanted to be a radio announcer, and my teacher told me that I had no chance of ever getting on the radio because my voice wasn't good enough, and after I heard that, I gave up. I am truly sorry, disembodied announcer voice, that that is a terrible thing to tell a child. Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry too. Would you maybe want to come on my podcast as a guest? I would like that very much. Thank you.
