The lullaby of spring
Donovan
Rain has showered far her drip
Splash and trickle running,
Plant has flowered in the sand
Shell and pebble sunning.
So begins another spring,
Green leaves and of berries,
Chiff-chaff eggs are painted by
Mother bird eating cherries.
In the misty tangled sky
Fast a wind is blowing,
In the new-born rabbit's heart
River life is flowing.
So begins another spring,
Green leaves and of berries,
Chiff-chaff eggs are painted by
Mother bird eating cherries.
From the dark and wetted soil,
Brpetals are unfolding.
Brfrom the stony village kirk,
Breaster bells of old ring.
Br
Brso begins another spring,
Brgreen leaves and of berries,
Brchiff-chaff eggs are painted by
Brmother bird eating cherries.

Brrain has showered far her drip
Brsplash and trickle running,
Brplant has flowered in the sand
Brshell and pebble sunning.

Brgreen leaves and of berries,
Brchiff-chaff eggs are painted by
Brmother bird eating cherries.
