And the last song on reprise is the song The Last Day, which I guess thematically makes sense as the closing song on the album. And this is another song from Innocence that I wrote with Skylar Gray. The original actually is one of these strange songs that like it took on a life of its own long after the album was released. And a lot of people have gone back and discovered it.Skylar is such an interesting musician.I mean, she's written for Eminem. She's written, you know, done lots of pop things. But she has such a poetic soul and such a poetic approach to what she does. And the lyrics to this are just some of my favorite lyrics that I've ever had the privilege of working with.I mean, I wish I had helped write the lyrics. She wrote the lyrics and I just sort of got to sit back and bask in their reflected lyrical glory. And of course. The guys in Darlingside joined her to provide the backing vocals. And if you don't know Darlingside, they're this wonderful quartet of phenomenally talented singers. And they obviously sing on two of the songs on the album on Almost Home and The Last Day.So those are all the songs on reprise.I'm very happy that now I get the chance to share it with you.Maybe that sounds like musician cliche talk. But it's honest. That's how I feel.We worked on this album. When I say we, like me and the singers and the string quartet and the gospel choir and the orchestra and the conductor. So many people are involved in making this record.I wish I could name all of them. But it took such a long time to make it.And I'm just, maybe I shouldn't admit this in public.I'm just really happy with how it turned out.And I'm genuinely happy to be able to share it with you.Thank you.
