That Wasn't Jack is one of the first songs I ever co-wrote over Zoom.Soon after the pandemic hit us, now we're all so used to it.You know, it's second nature to conduct business of any kind over a computer screen.But at the time, it was really strange.But these guys had the idea, and I loved it.And I think they had part of the first verse, maybe.I related to it because I don't know that I've ever been that guy, but I would be that guy.That would be having to explain myself to, you know, my ex or current girlfriend or wife or whomever.Going, I promise you, I promise you.It really wasn't, you know, I know in the past it's been me drunk dialing you and all that stuff.But this time it was really just me, I promise you.I just miss you or whatever.So I thought it was really kind of a neat concept.And kind of a.Different take on that type of song.
