We're taking a look back at Taylor Swift's album, Red, which is celebrating its sixth anniversary. And, you know, one thing about the Red album is that although most of the songs are about love, they're all different and Taylor covers a whole spectrum of love and relationships on this album. Yeah, I don't want to be too repetitive with emotions because I want there to be something on the album for anyone who's going through anything. And those are tough bases to cover, but I try to be really diverse with the amount of emotions that I'm covering because I want someone who's falling in love for the first time to have a song that they relate to. I want someone who's lonely, who misses her ex-boyfriend. I want her to relate to it. I want the guy that just met someone new and he's absolutely in love. I want him to have a song. I want the person who's wondering if their relationship is going to work out or not. I want them to have a song. Someone who is begging their ex-girlfriend for another chance. I want him to have a song, you know, like I think that there should be all these different emotional bases covered and that's a lot of the time how I pick which songs end up on the record. Well, I think Taylor did a fantastic job of covering the spectrum of love on her Red album and the next song that we're going to play, it actually covers the funny side of love and here's what Taylor had to say about Stay, Stay, Stay off her Red album. The song Stay, Stay, Stay is about a relationship kind of viewed from a comedic perspective, you know, like commitment and being in a relationship that actually works but there are parts of it that just seem funny. I think that that kind of a relationship is a lot of the time one that ends up lasting because you have a hilarious friendship underneath all of the love, at least what I've seen with my friends. It's kind of a lasting relationship if you can have a friendship, if you can have comedy, if you can laugh at yourselves. I think that's something that really helps two people stick together. Well, it is called Stay, Stay, Stay and here it is on Big Machine Radio.
