In a lot of the early versions, the film had this prophecy, and it was our job to introduce the prophecy in a fun and exciting song. So we decided to do it as a children's pageant, and in this song we see the children rehearsing the pageant with a very kind of uptight and snooty school play director. Good, and accent group! Narrators come down stage with confidence! Stop! Stop these shenanigans! This is not some silly comedy, Nils Nordberg. This is the troll's prophecy. This could be our fate. Give me your gum. Take it from Your Future is Bleak. Your future is bleak. Your kingdom will splinter. Your land shall be cursed with unending winter. Good, going on. With blasts of cold will come dark art. And a ruler with a frozen heart. Then all will perish in snow and ice. Unless you are freed with a sword sacrifice. What's a sword sacrifice? It's me. Quiet! But frozen starvation is not today's fate. Plus we have an extra special cause to celebrate. The most gracious, gorgeous, smartest, kindest, absolutely perfect. That will do. Role model this land has ever seen. Princess Elsa! I really love her. Becomes our queen! Look! There she is!
