We’ve been a hopeless people,
Living in a world of darkness,
Bonded by the sin and no one to set us free.
I do the things I don’t want to do,
I don’t do the things I want to do,
What a wretch I am, who can set me free.

Why is my life full of misery,
In and out of prison endlessly,
I ask myself is it impossible for me to change.
Here comes a friend who was telling me,
Believe in JESUS! He can set you free,
