What I love remembering is an awful lot of people's first records that they'd get me to come sing. Sometimes they'd think it'd help if I was on their song or whatever. And maybe it did a little bit by name, but hopefully it was always talent that was the reason I got those calls. And I remember singing on Trisha Yearwood's first record, Patti's first record. Just tons of people's first records. What was fun was to work with them on their first record, and then work with them on their second record. First record, it was, oh, it's incredible, you're doing great, man, just whatever you want, man, it's fantastic. The second record on the talkback, that sucked, I don't know what, you're flat on that one note, it's just like, okay, it didn't take you long to figure it out.
