I
came to
peace with the monster everybody said I used to be.
I ran these streets with the demons
till the monsters had to prove to me.
I fell before all of my pastors never knew what I was after.
I hurt
before but never after I gave in and met my master.
Used and useless,
my foolishness proved it,
but I became the man that I was meant to be.
Abused and I knew with the power I used it,
became the only option that was left for me.
A prisoner of war,
the pain that I stored was used as power so my captors I devoured.
We're living as prisoners,
attention to listeners,
we never know our power on the prison bus.
They don't ever get enough.
Ship us off to war in the prison bus.
Ship us off to war in the prison bus.
They don't ever get enough.
