Talk about Palm Court.
What do you miss about Palm Court?
A lot of the festivals.
And, of course, I also had Lewis Nelson.
Yeah.
And Ernie Ely.
And I had Chuck Brady.
All those historic people.
And many, many others.
Danny Barker was one of my best friends.
Yeah.
And we hung out together a lot.
He and his wife, too.
So, you know, Palm Court struck.
That's why we have that.
So, it's why, you know, all those people.
So many people.
My friends.
35 years doing it.
But, you know, even before that.
You know, I knew people like those people who love tours.
King Thomas.
All those people.
Lewis was a big part of the Palm Court.
A very big part.
Oh.
I missed him.
I missed Lucy doing the Little Liza Jay.
All that.
I mean, Lucy.
When we lost Lucy, it was like, everybody was sad.
But Lucy was really sad for me.
We used to get up there and do that Little Liza Jay.
We'd dance at the Palm Court together.
I miss Lucy.
I miss Lucy, too.
Yeah.
All those people.
Oh, yeah.
They played there.
Percy and Willie.
Most played there.
My best friends, you know.
Yeah.
What it's like.
Most people like Daddy.
But, no, they're my friends.
They supported me.
Bobby.
Eileen.
His wonderful wife.
Everybody.
And all the families were coming.
All day.
Until we closed the restaurant.
All related.
Everybody.
Everybody in there is related.
All I love.
All I love.
All I love.
Yeah.
Do the Palm Court strut.
Shake that butt.
Do the Palm Court strut.
Shake your butt.
Shake it to the east.
Shake it to the west.
Shake it to the west.
Shake it to the west.
You know it's one at the bottom.
No, not the Ohem funky song?
Shake that booty.
