The second song on reprise is Natural Blues, and of course the original version was on the album
Play, and it featured the phenomenal vocals of Vera Hall, and for this version I reached out to
two of my favorite, favorite singers in the world, Gregory Porter and Amethyst Kia, and luckily for
me, hopefully for you as well, but luckily they agreed to sing on the record, and Natural Blues
it's named after an old Taj Mahal album. Taj Mahal was actually a blues singer. My mom
was a huge Taj Mahal fan, so I sort of named the song Natural Blues as a tribute both to my mom's
love for Taj Mahal, the blues singer, and to Taj Mahal, the blues singer.
