You know, as I sit here by myself, nervous, afraid, I've come to realize, why am I doing this? I mean, why am I even contemplating? Why should I take my own life? Why should I? I mean, why should I become a suicidal statistic? Well, there is no right answer and there is no reason. No, no, no, I'm not going to do this. I mean, life is the one great gift that God has given us. As I look at myself in the mirror, I realize that I am depressed sometimes and that I have problems or that I feel so low that I don't think I'll ever make it. But now I know that I am wrong. I can make it. I will make it. I mean, I have to believe in myself. I must think positive and know the person that I am. I must find my limitations and build upon those. I mean, I've got to be strong and I must be capable of withstanding pain. Hey, I know life has its ups and downs, but those situations will only make me stronger. No, I will not ignore those obstacles. I will work through them. Life is not easy, but then again, it's not supposed to be. If I scream for help and no one hears me, well, then I guess I'll have to scream a little louder until they do. Yeah, I can make it. Me, myself and I. Sometimes I feel as if I'm at the edge of a cliff, but I'm not going to let that wind blow me. Hey, I know that I gotta be strong. I know that I can't go wrong. I've got to learn to love me. I know that there will be sad times, but the good outweigh the bad times. So I turned and I looked in the mirror and I said, you, you must love me. There ain't nothing confusing.
