We're taking a look back at Taylor Swift's album, Fearless, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this fall. And this next song is perhaps one of the most successful of Taylor Swift's career. At one point, it was the best selling digital country single of all time in the U.S. It's been certified eight times platinum in the U.S., meaning it sold over eight million copies. And it's been certified seven times platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association. I'm talking about Love's story, and here's what Taylor said she was thinking about when she wrote this song. It's about love that isn't easy and it's not simple. I don't think that it should be necessarily. If love is worth it, if it's that good that it's worth fighting for, then you know that it's the right love if you're willing to fight for it. I wanted to portray some sort of symbolic message of that in the video. And that is, you know, running away from the castle and running through a field and meeting up in the middle. That was my symbolic way of the love being worth fighting for. And so I think that, yeah, you can have love that's easy and simple and all that. But I think it's a lot more fun when it's something you've got to work for and you've got to fight for because it's that worth it. Like I said, this is probably one of the most successful songs off Taylor's Fearless album, if not in her entire career. This is Love Story on Big Machine Radio.
