girl when you hold me how you control me you bend and you hold me
any way you please
must be easy for you
loving things that you do
just to pass time for you
I could never be
and you never know girl
if I should stay or go
cause the games that you play
keep driving me away
don't love me for fun girl
let me be the one girl
love me for a reason
let the reason be love
don't love me for fun girl
let me be the one girl
love me for a reason
let the reason be love
Kisses and caresses
Are only mine to testify
Of love which it stresses
Between a woman and a man
So love everlasting
Isn't what you're asking
I'll have to ask you
Proudly to extend
I can't continue guessing
Because it's only messing
Of my pride and my mind
So right now it's time to tell you
Don't love me for fun, girl
Let me be the one, girl
Love me for a reason
And the reason you love
Don't love me for fun
Girl, let me be the one, girl
Love me for a reason
And the reason you love
Oh, baby
I'm just a little old-fashioned
It takes more than
A thousand years
Of physical attraction
My initial reaction is
Honey, give me love
On a facsimile of
So love, don't love me for fun, girl
Let me be the one, girl
Love me for a reason
And let the reason be love
Don't love me for fun, girl
Let me be the one, girl
Love me for a reason
Don't love me for fun, girl
And let the reason be love
Don't love me for fun, girl
Love me for a reason
Not a reason
And let the reason be love
Don't love me for fun
Don't love me for fun, girl
Love me for enchanting
Love me, love me for ties
Hold me, love me for mine
With my soul
Love me every day
Don't ever contrite
Teem嘿
Love me, love me
Love me, love me, love me
Renie, love ME
No, I come from a very large family, 27 children.
No, I'm the seventh of nine.
And I was born in a little town in the state of Utah, northern Utah.
My dad had this little insurance agency, and he was also the postmaster in that town.
So needless to say, my folks didn't have a lot of money growing up.
In fact, what my mother would do, she'd go out and buy all this material,
and she would make outfits for all of us, so we all looked alike.
It was a lot cheaper that way, you know.
So like I said, they didn't have a lot of money, but what they did have,
they gave to us so we could realize our dreams of wanting to be in show business.
I wrote this next song about 13 years ago.
And shortly after I finished it, unfortunately, I lost my mom.
A couple years after that, my dad also passed away.
So this song has become, at least to me, kind of like a theme song about my parents.
It's called Whenever You're in Trouble.
