Stayed I'm In. That is the name of Aaron Lewis's new album which is available now.
Ten tracks on the album and we've been talking about every single song with
Aaron, getting his perspective, maybe getting a little insight into each song,
some of the backstory. And this next song, Love Me, this is another one that Aaron
you wrote entirely by yourself. It's another very, very raw emotional song and
I wonder with songs like this, do you have to write them yourself because no
one else could do the emotions justice or convey what it is that you're trying
to convey from deep within you? I don't know if it would have come out the same
way if it was somebody else's song. Mm-hmm. That was the last of the songs
that I wrote 100% for this record. Okay. And as we were talking about before, that
was an extremely easy song to write and the most difficult song I've ever had to
write. I felt like it was necessary that I own that. There is a lot of pain in it.
For anyone who's ever tried. Well I mean it's an amazing song and in some ways I
sometimes felt very intrusive listening to it because I felt like I was looking
at a journal that maybe I wasn't supposed to be reading because it is so
honest but it's a great song and so we're gonna go ahead and play it. It's
Love Me. Another deeply emotional track off of Aaron Lewis's great new album
State I'm In. It is available now.
