Brett Young's brand new album, Ticket to L.A., it's got 13 songs on there, and Brett wrote 10
of the 13. This next song that we're about to play off of Ticket to L.A. is one that Brett
actually did not write, but I think you will recognize the famous names attached to this song,
Ross Kopperman, Shane McAnally, and John Knight. So, Brett, tell me about Let It Be Mine and what
made you want to choose this song for your album? Let It Be Mine is the last outside song on the
record, and it's just one of the prettiest songs I've ever heard. There's something about hearing
a demo with John Knight's voice on it, and you don't need to let him hear me say this and make
him uncomfortable, but he delivers as a singer kind of the way that I hope to, and so that paired
with the right story and the right lyrics, I'm a sucker for, and the second I heard Let It Be Mine,
it was just, you know, no guy wants to kind of beg for affection, but if there was a right way to do
it, I think this is it, and so I like the way that this one was put, and I think it's a really nice
addition to the record.

guys will play for the person that they're interested in, the woman that they want to love.
