It is the month of December, so it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and Hanukkah, by the way. So the times have changed. Santa doesn't write a sleigh anymore. You know, he takes an Uber. Kids don't write him letters, you know, they just text him. And anyway, since the holidays are upon us, I thought it might be fun to sing a classic Christmas song. And we've been talking a lot about record covers, and this one has a little story, too. When they needed a cover for this album, I chose one from my Central Park concert. Actually, it was taken the night before the concert during rehearsal. I liked how the light accidentally happened to hit the microphone, you know, at the perfect moment, giving a kind of celestial glow. And sometimes I like taking a familiar song and sort of turning it upside down, you know, with an unexpected kind of arrangement. So if you're familiar with this next song and have the impulse to sing along, please don't. No, I'm just kidding, but if you can keep up, I can barely keep up with it now, feel free to sing along. I dare you. Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. We're dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh. All the way. Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. And soon Miss Fanny Bright was seated by my side. The horse was lean and lank. Misfortune seemed his lot. He got into a drifting bank, and then we got upsot. Upsot? Well, it has to rhyme, you know. Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. Thank you, Anne.
