I'm gonna make up some verses to this first two verses,
but the last verses is the one I wrote the whole song about.
And I wrote it because it just came into my mind,
this here thing came into my mind.
My girlfriend, she's in Europe right now.
She's sailed on a boat over there
and she'll be back September 1st,
but until she's back, I never go home.
And it gets kind of bad sometimes.
Sometimes it gets bad, most times it doesn't.
I wrote this one especially thinking about that.
And I just wanted to get it on your tape recording machine.
This is way out of my style.
I never write songs in this sort of style,
but this is the Pete Seeger style.
