Well, here's a couple of songs from pipe tunes that I heard in Cape Breton Island.They kind of go with a song that I learned from Ed Trickett, which is a traditional Canadian song,called The Scarborough Settler's Lament.And it's about a fella that's been out of Scotland for 30 years, and he's been in Canada.I don't know whether he was exiled or whether he just moved there, but he has never quite gotten used to it.One of the finest examples of homesickness in a song I've ever heard.Loch Rannoch, Loch Dewick, The Scarborough Settler's Lament.
