For years, from age 10 to 35, I ran from the Lordship and mastery of Jesus in my life. I wanted to run my life my way, but my way never brought me joy. Nothing the world had to offer brought any lasting satisfaction. Then one day, finally, I just stopped running, turned around and faced His claim of love on my life and gave myself completely to Jesus. Here I am, Lord, use me Here I am, Lord, use me Empty of self, filled with Thee Here I am, Lord, use me Here I am, Lord, send me Here I am, Lord, send me Empty of self, filled with Thee Here I am, Lord, send me Here I am, Lord, lead me Here I am, Lord, lead me Empty of self, filled with Thee Here I am, Lord, lead me Here I am, Lord, bless me Here I am, Lord, bless me Empty of self, filled with Thee Here I am, Lord, bless me Here I am, Lord, all I want you to do is just use me, will you? Here I am, nothing in my hands, just use me I'm empty of myself, just fill me, Lord, with your Spirit and just use my life Lord, use me Oh Lord, I thank you for your goodness, your mercy, and your willingness to guide and to fulfill a life.
