i wrote this lyric while i was watching the horrible news about Sendai on cnn...
i am not good at English enough to write a flawless lyric
i am not famous enough to make a donation by singing this song
but i believe this could mean something to all who suffered from the tsunami in Japan...
please do something to help...
the melody of this song was based on the song "hallelujah" (Alexandra Burke version)
the pictures are from cnn.com, bbc.co.uk, getty images and other websites
Hallelujah (song for Sendai)
I've never had a dream like this before
When ships are rushing fast to shore
When people run and shout out loud for help
I open my eyes and almost cried
But there's still something that isn't right
It's not a dream it really happened to you
Hallelujah...
I turned on TV and I was shocked
People lost their homes, people lost their hopes
People cried when their family can't be found.
I feel breathless, don't know what to think
Just standing here with my heart crying
Why can something like this happen to you?
Hallelujah...
And maybe there's a God up there
But can he listen to our prayers
Can he turn back time to the day when you're still safe
People around the world are praying for Japan
We can be strong if we're hands in hands
Let's not give up
Let's give Japan our heart
Hallelujah...
