Touching down,
I arrived upon a field of green
From a sky of mist and gray blue rain
Kissed the ground,
felt my lips upon a field of green
Heard the music running round my brain So I called you,
though I had been so tired
I was feeling so inspired My head has been rewired
Touching ground,
I stood upon a field of green In a circle made of ancient stone
Sat alone,
high upon some caravan seat And I thought about how time has flown
So I called you,
warm within my soul
Knowing I must return before your heart grows cold
Touching ground,
sat a prayer beside a field of green
And the wind was humming all about
I was down,
drained of all my energy Till I turned my coat inside out
So I called to say I must believe In saints
and fairy trees I watched my heart fly free
Touching ground,
I walked upon a field of green And I sang beneath a sky of blue
All around,
there was light upon a field of green
And I walked and drept if only you
