We're taking a look back at Taylor Swift's Speak Now album here on Big Machine Radio, because this is the eighth year anniversary of that album. And you know, at the end of 2017, Speak Now was certified six times platinum, meaning it has sold over six million copies, which is so rare in this day and age. And I loved this next song off of Speak Now, because to me, it had such hope to it. Enchanted is a song that I wrote about a guy who I was enchanted to meet. He was a guy that I had talked to a couple times on email, but I hadn't met him. And then I went to meet him. I met him in New York. I remember just the whole way home thinking, I hope he's not in love with somebody. It was wonderful. It's like that feeling of like, oh my God, who's he with? Does he like me? Does he like somebody else? What does it mean? I got home and I opened my email and he had emailed me and said something like, Oh, sorry, I was so quiet. I was just I was wonderstruck meeting you. So I incorporated the word wonderstruck, the term wonderstruck into the song sort of as a hey, this one's sort of for you. Because I don't think that he knows that I feel this way at all. Can you imagine being that guy who sent Taylor that email and realizing when you hear this song that it was all about you? It has to be pretty incredible. This is Enchanted off of Taylor Swift's Speak Now album on Big Machine Radio.
