Jack, welcome back to Britain.
Last time I think I saw you at the Rainbow.
Weathering the Republic is an amazing band
and it's impossible to put a musical label on it.
Thank you.
That's a very nice compliment.
Thank you.
It's a team of four musicians.
Three who were here on the last tour.
The last two tours.
And a new addition this time.
Peter Hursky,
new drummer, which you saw.
I saw him with the Stan Kenton band.
I didn't realize until we were speaking a moment ago.
He was 18.
18. I just celebrated his 24th
birthday a few days ago in Los Angeles.
Well, *, it's about two months ago now.
You know,
unbelievable.
This cat can play more drums than anybody.
But basically,
I know that the other three of them,
they get out of work.
I've been in the band almost three years now.
And Wayne and Joe have been together for seven years.
And I just went short of his playing three instruments.
The metal woodwinds and...
And I can tell about Joe's serving.
Zabby Hood.
Serving in his way.
Every day he's been working.
He's the master.
He's the cat.
He's the cat.
He's the only guy that can do it.
Who is the guy?
Is there one added thing which isn't the guy who writes?
Is it Joe?
It's a difficult challenge.
It would probably be Joe if there is.
I
don't know.
I
don't know.
I don't know.
So I got my bass, you know.
I never listen to bass players.
I just listen to music.
