Said Moses to the Israelites, think how bad it was before, old Pharaoh whipped and worked us cause he wanted us to know that he was the one who held the whip and him you better obey, but I said you better look out now our God is gonna send you all a plague. Said the Israelites to Moses, we admit that's true, but way back there in Egypt at least we always knew that Pharaoh would send something, some crumbs on which we fed, now we're stuck in this desert and we might wind up dead. Said Moses to the Israelites, but we are slaves no more, God will feed us manna bread straight from heaven's store and maybe said the Israelites, but look around us now, man we're getting mighty hungry, let's head on back to town. Said the Israelites to Moses, we got no food or drink, now we're dragging through the desert man and just what makes you think we're not better off as slaves and know what's up ahead, then risking all in the desert and maybe wind up dead. Said the Moses to the Israelites, is this all you can see, I guess you'll only see the truth when you all believe, I thought you learned your lesson that God is always true, Pharaoh's just a petty crook who will surely turn on you. Said Moses to the Israelites, do not be afraid, stand firm and the Lord will deliver you today, and then through walls of water the Israelites did flee, and finally they understood how it feels to be free. .
