Early hours in the morning
I just came back from a dream
Picking yellow flowers on the outskirts
Of a hilly field
Oh dreams, oh dreams
They need love and devotion
Oh dreams, just like anyone
Oh dreams, oh dreams
They need love and devotion
Oh dreams, oh dreams
I met a man there
In the field
Reading poetry in the shadows
Of a tree
The book was old
And it was dusty
And so was he
I could see that so was he
He said he'd been there
For all time
He was there collecting secrets
And guiding dreams
Oh dreams, oh dreams
They need love and devotion
Oh dreams
Just like anyone else
Oh dreams, oh dreams
They need love and devotion
Oh dreams
Oh dreams
Oh dreams, oh dreams
We all are family
I met a man there
I met a man there
A man there
In the field
Reading poetry
In the shadows of a tree
The book was old
And it was filled with dust
feminists brutality
And so was he
I could see that so was he
He said he'd been there for all time
He was there collecting secrets
And guiding dreams
Oh dreams, oh dreams
They need love and devotion
Oh dreams
Just like anyone
else
Oh dreams, oh dreams
They need love and devotion
Oh dreams
Oh dreams
Just like anyone
else
Oh dreams
Just like anyone
else
Oh dreams
Just like anyone else
Oh dreams
you
