Dandelion time. Hi there, I'm Lottie from Calm Collective and I'm here to help you feel nice and relaxed with this short breathing exercise. So find somewhere comfortable to sit or lay down if you prefer. Now I'd like you to close your eyes and imagine walking through a park and spotting some dandelions. These ones haven't turned into lovely yellow flowers yet, they still have their fluffy white coats on. And of course you want to pick one and blow those tiny little seeds into the air. So imagine picking one up and holding it to your lips, now breathe in gently through your nose and blow out of your mouth like you're blowing out birthday candles. Watch those white fluffy bits sail into the wind like tiny parachutes. Now we're going to do this again, but this time I'd like you to breathe in for a count of four seconds through your nose and then breathe out for a count of four too. So you breathe and I'll count for you, ready? Breathe in, two, three, four, and out, two, three, four. Those fluffy dandelion seeds have probably scattered everywhere now, so imagine picking another one. We're going to try breathing in for four and out for four again, but this time we're going to keep it going until we feel nice and relaxed. Okay, so get ready, big breath in through your nose for one, two, three, four, and out of your mouth for one, two, three, four, in, two, three, four, out, two, three, four, and in, two, three, four, and out, two, three, four, and in, two, three, four, and out, two, three, four, in, two, three, four, out, two, three, four. Now open your eyes, no need to rush off anywhere, just enjoy that nice, calm, relaxed feeling.
