Bow to your partner, bow to your corner, bow to the opposite across the hall, hey, swing
that opposite across the hall, you ain't smoking her tonight at all.
Now run back home and swing your own, swing your partner there at home.
When you're through, promenade, go to by two, promenade, go all the way around, you get
back home and settle down.
First couple, number one, go out to the right, take your lady by the wrist and around that
lady with a grapevine twist, back to the center with a woha gene, around the gin, you did
not see.
Now circle four, circle to the left, side of the floor, lead up four, go on to the next
two, take your lady by the wrist and around that lady with a grapevine twist, take an
extra turn in the middle of the square, and around the gin, who's standing there?
Now circle six, circle left till you get faced, now lead up six, go on to the last, with the
gin in the lead, take your lady by the wrist and around that lady with a grapevine twist,
come back to the center on the same old track, and around the gin, go kick a big clap.
Now all join hands and circle eight, circle to the left of the garden gate and swing your
partners all, everybody swing and everybody whirl, and promenade around the world, promenade
on the heel of the toe and you get back home and don't be slow.
Second couple, number two, go out to the right, take your lady by the wrist and around that
lady with a grapevine twist, back to the center with a finger aid and around the gin
before you're late.
Now circle four, circle to the left as you did before, lead up four, go on to the next
two, take your lady by the wrist and around that lady with a grapevine twist, come back

Tennessee.
Now circle eight, hands around, you go, flick your heel and tap your toe and swing your
corners all, corners swing, the corner dance.
Now run back home and swing your own, you swing yours, leave mine alone.
When you're done, promenade around, you run, promenade around the hall with a short one,
fat one, skinny one, tall.
On the corner, do an alavan, left on your left hand, right to your partner, right to
left friend.
Go all the way around the ring, meet your own, give a right, pull by and keep on going
away, goodbye.
When you're home, you balance and you swing your own.
Third couple, number three, go out to the right, take your lady by the wrist and around
that lady with a grapevine twist, back to the center with the same intent, go through
that couple and around the gin.
Now circle four, circle to the left at the side of the floor.
Now lead up four and take your lady by the wrist and around that lady with a grapevine
twist.
Pretty little loop in the middle of the square and around the gin who's standing there.
Now circle six, circle to the left like a pick-a-nut sticks.
Now lead up six, go on to the left with a gentle lead, take your lady by the wrist and around
that lady with a grapevine twist.
Come back to the center as you used to do and around the gin before you're through.
Now all join hands and circle eight, circle to the left and don't be late.
Four ladies, listen to the call, swing with the gin across the hall, cheat him and swing,
cheat him and swing.
Now run back home and swing your own, don't get caught and cheat your own.
On the corner have a man late, but you come back one and promenade with the one you swung.
Promenade, go round the bar and one more time will do no harm.

Now circle six, if you don't get muddled then you don't get mixed.
Now lead up six, go on to the left and one more time, take your lady by the wrist and
around that lady with a grapevine twist.
Pretty little loop in the middle of the square and around the gin you stand and stare around
that gin, he doesn't care.
Now all join hands and circle eight, but don't fall down and break your plate.
Four gins, listen to the call, swing with the lady on your right wall.
One beyond, your partner's all.
Now run back home and swing your own, aren't you glad the bird ain't flown?
Now the man left on your left hand, a right to your honey and a right on that friend.
You meet your own and promenade, promenade, you know where.
Take them out and give them air.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
