I woke up Wednesday morning,
couldn't find my pickup keys
So I dialed up an Uber down to Crossville,
Tennessee
A pretty little driver with sunshine on her face

I got in and had to grin,
I'm gonna give this girl a chase
I'm riding in her backseat, falling harder
every mile
She's laughing at my bad jokes with that lovely Sunday morning smile
I found my angel,

Until she said, my daddy's a preacher

church every Sunday, then revival Sunday night

I got Bible study Tuesday,
youth group Thursday afternoon
Friday I'll be cooking casserole for the old folks who caught the flu
She took me to the Kroger to get me something hot to eat
Then she prayed for my salvation right there on aisle three
I said,
maybe we could get dinner,
she said,

bless your little heart

Wednesday night's for worship and
the choir starts at six o'clock sharp
I'm at church every Sunday,

Got a schedule packed with Jesus and my calendar is booked up late

we ain't going on a first date

dropped me off at my place and lingered for a while
And before she left,
she wrote my name down in her Bible
