The gun debate has been going on as long as I remember And I don't see it letting up, ever Seems like one side wants all the guns to be free While the other side wants them all under lock and key As for me, I still haven't taken a side I still want my second amendment rights But if we can find a way to make it harder for abusers of their right to bear arms to get a gun Then we should do it Cause if you don't have one you can become a casualty of someone else that has one With no care for legality And if you're black, you might get shot by a cop Whether you're armed or not, so why not get a Glock? But at the same time I still want to make it harder for dudes to get guns If all they want to do is slaughter We got a lot of people that aren't in their right minds Easily getting nines with intent to start crimes That all being said, if it's your life or my life I'ma name it out your head Don't think just cause I'm torn on gun control That where my life is on the line I won't fill you with holes In fact, I know days of biscuits that'll scramble your eggs Spill your gravy and make saucers be out of your head Then keep calm and carry arms, get your bloody head straight Cause all it takes is five pounds of pressure to make you into a dead weight Then be a planet big that's working out the trigger fingers Like training for the Olympics Street shooters without the skiers They need a verdict, seems to pull out their little weapons Scared to clap, it's immobile, we'll Swiss cheese you in a millisecond Cause the only time whites want to discuss black on black crime Is when blacks ask why these cops kill on all blacks all the time So if you die, you won't even get a CSI You'll be lucky if a cop looks at your corpse and says Yep, he died People want to play a role until folks start clapping And I personally am not a killer, but touch my family, see what happens You'll be surprised at how easy it is for managers to find you Did you forget where I'm from? You don't want them to remind you And that's all I have to say about that
