Blackbird
Calls outside my window
But it sounds
A million miles away
I stare
At the wall in front of me Blackbird
Starts to take shape It wraps
Its feathers around me
I find
It's hard to look away When faced
With darkness all around me
Blackbird
Comforts in a way
Blackbird Blackbird
Blackbird Blackbird
Blackbird
I look
at the clock above me
It stopped telling the time
There's no time for rhyme or reason When you know you'll never align
