I try to have an outlook on life with a glass that's half full
rather than a glass that's half empty.
Anybody out there try to do that too?
Yeah.
All we got is this one life.
And so I say,
why don't we try to make it beautiful,
all right?
It's dirty on the surface,
life can lose its perfect polish,
sometimes.
It's crazy and it's reckless,
takes us on a reckless rocket ride.
All right.
Well,
let it rain on our parade,
a little rain won't hurt a thing.
It'll wash away the tarnish,
leaving life bright and beautiful,
beautiful.
It's an empty canvas we paint beautiful,
beautiful,
with every breath,
a chance to make it beautiful,
beautiful.
Just beyond the scars and scratches,
burned out stars and empty glasses,
the world is full of beautiful.
It's finishing the journey before the
lights go out in the Western sky at night.
Making a new memory,
knowing you'll be back a million times in your mind.
A new mercy every morning,
new romance without warning.
Heaven keeps on pouring,
making life that much more beautiful,
beautiful.
It's an empty canvas we paint beautiful,
beautiful,
with every breath,
a chance to make it beautiful,
beautiful.
Just beyond the scars and scratches,
burned out stars and empty glasses,
the world is full of beautiful.
Oh,
you can see it in the face of a little child,
so beautiful.
And just take a look all around you,
the sun, the moon,
the stars,
the mountains,
the valleys,
the wind in your hair.
It's beautiful.
Say it again.
It's beautiful.
It's beautiful.
Beautiful.
Just beyond the scars and scratches,
burned out stars and empty glasses,
the world is full of beautiful.
Oh, just beyond those scars and those scratches,
all those burned out stars,
all those empty glasses,
you'll find,
you'll find,
you'll find,
you'll find beautiful.
Oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh,
oh, oh, oh,
oh, oh, oh, oh.
