Always the last to know is another Marie Fredriksson track Recorded in this version as a demo for the have a nice day album, I guess back in 1998 Yeah, it's Marie's own demo. I Thought this was a really beautiful song the lyrics Was written by me And I wrote some music to them myself Over and over again, but couldn't nail it. So Marie had a go and She did it was a beautiful piece of music at least part of it I thought part of the song was so so and the first part was really amazing Which part do you like of the song the one that you didn't like? I Like the the first part of the song when the first the verses anyway, I think Have a nice day Was an album Which we recorded when we had like three years off. We had so many songs. So I mean if the song wasn't Everybody loved the song immediately. We didn't record it. So this was a leftover and But it's a good song and it's a great Compared to me Marie, they always did very complex demos of her song. She spent weeks and weeks on songs I was I've always been more of a Spend three hours on a song and then I moved to next song, but you never considered Going in and changing the part that you didn't like I mean like you you could technically you could have written the song musically the music side together as well Yeah, but there was no need for it because we had so many other songs I mean if that was the only song we had, of course, we would have done something like that But at the time, you know, you have maybe 35 songs Circulating and if I come with a song that people like the chorus, but not the verse We skipped it if Marie came in and everybody loved the verse didn't like the chorus. We skipped it you know, you took the songs that you liked because they were there and that's Made it to you made our lives so much easier
