I can tell what you think by the look on your face
The look on your face is so mean
Can you tell me exactly what it is about being so clean?
Only ever wanted to be your friend
Never wanted to be your slave
So take me as I appear before ya
Come and live with me in a cave
And it'll be alright
Have a drink on a ride
We all saw love
Do everything
Do everything
Do everything
That I know for sure
I can see it all now
Falling into place
We can live until it's the end
You can turn and glance
At the look in my face
And it's really picking up my mind
And it'll be alright
Have a drink on a Friday night
We all saw love
Do everything
Do everything
Do everything that I know for sure
So give all your fancy clothes to the Rag Man
Put on your blue jeans
Take off the stupid look on your face
Everything I say I mean
And it'll be alright
Have a drink on a ride
Have a drink on a Friday night
It'll be oh so good
To everything that I know
It'll be all right
Have a drink on a Friday night
It'll be oh so good
To everything that I know
It'll be all right
Thank you very much, thank you.
Thanks.
We're going to do one of Rod's songs now.
Is anybody around with the downtown faction?
I used to be in them.
And when I was in them, I wrote this song.
It was a blues song.
And we didn't do it awfully well, but we do it a bit better now.
So we'll put it on the LP, and this one's called Train in G Major.
He's really thin that lad, you know, he could do with a good meal.
Train in G Major
First time I ever got a chance to play at the City Hall was when we were called The Brethren.
We're over the moon, you know, and we got a chance to play at the City Hall.
I mean.
Still the best gig ever, you know?
I mean, the best gig I ever played apart from City Hall was the Go-Go.
