Before we begin, find a comfortable seated posture, with your spine erect but not rigid, hands in a comfortable relaxed position, shoulders soft and gentle. Now start by tuning into your breath, taking a long, drawn out inhale, a slow exhale, andagain a long inhale. And a slow exhale, just feeling a sense of letting go, and again a long, drawn out inhale. And a slow exhale, surrendering and letting go.Now continue to be mindful of your inhales and exhales.Tune your awareness into your body.Starting at the top of your head, come down to your forehead and just soften there.Soften behind your eyes.Soften behind your eyes.Soften the cheeks and the jaw and the tongue.Letting the tongue relax as though you never have to say another word.Softening down the back of the neck and in the throat.Perhaps taking the next inhale into your shoulders, just creating more space there.Softening the chest and the lungs.Breathing into the back, creating spaciousness between your shoulderblades. And on the exhale, perhaps letting your shoulders roll back and down just alittle bit.Softening the belly, taking your next inhale down into your pelvis.Feeling where your body makes contact with the floor. As you sit in this soft, still posture, just noticing the quality of serenitythat arises as we find stillness in the body. And if the mind is active with thoughts, that's okay. That's what the mind does.So just lovingly coming back to your breath.Back to the deep inhale and the long, slow exhale. And now tuning in.Bringing your attention towards your listening. And your capacity to hear.Opening the ears wide.Becoming aware of the sounds in the room. The gentle and soft sounds of your body.Perhaps the sounds of the world outside. And the sounds of your body. And tuning in to your capacity to listen by developing a curious receptivity to life,so that it's not just your ears doing the listening, but in fact your whole body receiving sound..Again, if thoughts arise, coming back to the breath, feeling the stillness of the body, and just listening. And now perhaps taking your next inhale into your heart space, and just feeling into and connecting with how your heart feels in this moment.Perhaps simply asking the question,How is my heart doing right now?And whatever the answer is, even if there's no answer at all right now,is taking the next inhale and accepting and allowing.Exhaling and just letting go.Inhale, accepting and allowing your heart to be wherever it's at.Exhale and just letting go.And as you tune into your heart, sinking your awareness deeper into the core. This part of your being where your sense of compassion lies. The capacity to love life.To accept it as it is.And as you breathe and feel this part of yourself, just allowing your compassion to radiate out across your entire being.Enveloping you in the warmth and care and love that you have for yourself. And just noticing if anything comes up.Just breathing acceptance and allowing.Exhale and letting go.And if there are any feelings that feel strong or overwhelming, just coming back to the breath.Back to the soft spaciousness in your body.Back to the listening. And then to close this practice, just letting go of the control of your breath. And just allow yourself to feel the feeling of what it's liketo be breathed by life.Surrendering control.Letting life breathe you.Exhaling and just letting go.Just holding it all into one positive and understanding of yourself.Spending yourRadial independence measures your life cycle.*
